The present invention relates to a cloud-based navigation system, which transmits a massive amount of route information collected in a cloud server and a result of arithmetic operation to a navigation installed in a vehicle and consequently to a driver. The cloud-based navigation system comprises a GPS receiver to receive a current position; an image recording unit to record images in at least one direction among the front, rear and side; a cloud server to store the image recorded by the image recording unit, driving route, speed and current position of the vehicle and calculate road and traffic situations by a road or a route and an average travel speed based on the speed of the vehicle; a communication unit which transmits driving route, speed and current position of the vehicle received from the GPS receiver and image recorded by the image recording unit to the cloud server and receives surrounding CCTV video with respect to the current position of the vehicle received from the GPS receiver; and a display unit to show e-map, CCTV video received from the communication unit, real-time road and traffic situations by a road or a route received from the cloud server and the average travel speed. |
