A user authentication method and system for a VDI client using RFID/NFC are provided. In a method for providing a remote service according to an embodiment of the present invention, a client receives authentication information from a user card using near field communication and transmits the received authentication information to a server. Once the server authenticates the user as a valid user, the client can receive a remote service from the server. Thereby personal authentication preceding provision of a virtual desktop environment of a user area and services can be conveniently and promptly carried out, and personal information security can be improved. |
