PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet image recording method wherein, even when there is a large amount of ink and moisture to be applied, the occurrence of cockling in a recording unit is effectively inhibited, and a high-quality image can be recorded without using a large-scale apparatus.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording method includes a liquid composition coating step of coating a recording medium with a liquid composition, and an image recording step of applying an aqueous ink to the recording medium coated with the liquid composition to record an image. The liquid composition contains choline chloride and water, and in the liquid composition coating step, an amount of choline chloride to be applied to the recording medium is 2.5 g/mor more 10.0 g/mor less. |
