PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which increase in the initial reaction resistance and increase in the internal resistance when repeating charge and discharge are suppressed, respectively, by satisfying both ensuring of impregnation of the nonaqueous electrolyte into an electrode body when manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, and prevention of outflow of the nonaqueous electrolyte from the electrode body when charging and discharging the secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a wound electrode body having long positive electrode sheet and negative electrode sheet, and at both ends of the sheet in the winding axis direction of the electrode body, a portion coated with a copolymer (PVDF-HFP) of polyvinylidene fluoride and hexafluoroisopropanol is formed in the longitudinal direction of the sheet. |
