<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine capable of adapting itself to addition of facilities without any trouble by effectively utilizing the existing space of an upper frame.SOLUTION: A center scaffold 34 for maintenance work is provided before an engine room 27 in an upper frame 25 and at an upper frame width-directionally intermediate part, and a staircase-like companionway 35 for guiding a maintenance personnel to the center scaffold 34 is provided on the opposite side from a cabin 32. On the assumption thereof, a work oil tank 33 is installed on the right side of the upper frame, and a fuel tank 36 is installed behind the cabin on the left side; and an air cleaner 37 is installed on the fuel tank 36 not overlapping an oil filler port in such a direction that a filter can be put in and out from the center scaffold 34.</p> |
