<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float plate glass manufacturing facility that can improve cooling efficiency of a bathtub bottom.SOLUTION: A facility for manufacturing float plate glass comprises: a dissolver 1 that is installed adjacent to openings 14 formed in a floor 15 of an upper floor 5 of a building; a bathtub 2 that forms molten glass into a glass ribbon by float molding; a main duct 7 that is installed on a lower floor 6 of the building and has a plurality of injection pipes 25 facing the bottom of the bathtub 2; a main blower 8; a grating floor 9 that is set below the bathtub 2 to form an intermediate floor 10; supply pipes 22 that vertically penetrate the grating floor 9 to extend toward the bottom of the bathtub 2 and are respectively provided with the injection pipe 25 at their tip side; and a plurality of sub-blowers 40 that are set on the grating floor 9 and send air around the supply pipes 22 to the lower floor 6 side located below the dissolver 1 through the grating floor 9. Air discharge passages a, c, d, e are formed which discharge the air sent to the lower floor 6 side located below the dissolver 1 to the outdoors through the openings 14 and the upper floor 5.</p> |
