<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass molding manufacturing method that can effectively prevent cracking or chipping from occurring in a cooling step after pressure molding.SOLUTION: A glass molding manufacturing method comprises the steps of: pressure molding a molten or softened glass material 71; cooling the glass material 71 in a state where the glass material 71 is stuck to a first mold 31; and releasing a glass molding, which is the glass material 71 after cooling, from the first mold 31 by projecting a tip of a mold release pin 36 from a mold surface 31a of the first mold 31. In the pressure molding step of the glass material 71, the mold release pin 36 is disposed so that a tip surface 36a of the mold release pin 36 is flush with a peripheral surface 31a1 of the first mold 31. In the step of cooling the glass material 71 after the pressure molding in the state where the glass material 71 is stuck to the first mold 31, the mold release pin 36 is disposed so that the tip surface 36a of the mold release pin 36 is located lower than the peripheral surface 31a1 of the first mold 31.</p> |
