<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid junction and re-electrification caused by generating a conductive foreign substance between cut-off conductive members in a current cutoff device.SOLUTION: The current cutoff device includes a first electrification member and a second electrification member, respectively, which are connected between an external terminal and an electrode assembly that is accommodated in a case, and disposed while opposing each other. The current cutoff device also includes an insulative seal member between the electrification members. The first electrification member is connected with the external terminal, and the second electrification member is connected with the electrode assembly, respectively. The seal member isolates a space between the first electrification member and the second electrification member into an inner space and an outer space, and the outer space communicates with a space within the case. In a planar view, the seal member is positioned in an entire area outside of a contact part of the seal member with the electrification members in a range where the first electrification member and the second electrification member oppose each other. Further, a taper is provided in a corner formed from at least one of mutual opposing surfaces of the first electrification member and the second electrification member and an outer peripheral surface, and the seal member is in contact with the tapered part.</p> |
