<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent temperature unevenness of a pressure roller due to a cooling fan.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a fixing apparatus 4 having a fixing film 45 with a heater 241, and a pressure roller 43 which comes into contact with the fixing film 45 to form a fixing nip part, and fixes an unfixed toner image in the fixing nip part; a fan 221 for cooling the inside of the apparatus including the fixing apparatus 4; and a CPU 1000 which controls the fan 221 to be driven after printing a predetermined number of sheets, without driving the fan 221 until the end of printing the predetermined number of sheets in printing operation.</p> |
