ENERGY SAVING OF C4 LPG SEPARATION APPARATUS

Disclosed is a technology for separating C4 LPG, having a maximized economical efficiency as the thermal efficiency of the process is enhanced by reducing energy and optimizing the process operation, using waste heating water (quench water) as a heat source for a C4 LPG separation process. Provided is an energy-saving C4 LPG separation apparatus, regarding an apparatus for separating normal butane and isobutane from C4 LPG feed, which comprises: a separation column wherein the C4 LPG feed is introduced, and a normal butane stream is discharged into a lower portion and an isobutane stream is discharged into an upper portion by using quench water as a heat source; a first heat exchanger for preheating the C4 LPG feed using the isobutane stream discharged into the upper portion as a heat source; and a second heat exchanger for heating the C4 LPG feed using the quench water as a heat source to be introduced into the separation.
