摘要 A device and a method for estimating tire pressure in a vehicle are disclosed. A method for estimating tire pressure according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured such that: for a plurality of tire pressures, corresponding wheel speed signals for test are detected respectively; a first fast Fourier transformation (FFT) is executed for detected wheel speed signals; PCA weighted coefficient for projecting FFT signal pattern in resonance frequency band including resonance frequencies of the first FFT signal patterns to PCA space is calculated using PCA (Principle Component Analysis); and after PCA, LDA (Linear Discriminant Analysis) discriminant coefficient is calculated to divide a plurality of groups projected in PCA space through an LDA; calculated PCA weighted coefficient and the LDA discriminant coefficient are stored; wheel speed signals to be analyzed are detected for detecting air pressure state in a real situation; a second FFT is executed for detected wheel speed signals to be analyzed; a PCA is executed by applying stored PCA weighted coefficient for the second FFT signal patterns in resonance frequency band; and an LDA is executed by adopting stored LDA discriminant coefficient to determine state of tire air pressure corresponding to wheel speed signals to be analyzed.
