Provided are a display device which logs on with a plurality of accounts if logs on with a group account, and displays an image of an account service corresponding to login accounts; and a control method thereof. The display device comprises: a communication unit communicating with at least one external server which provides the account service; a storage unit storing login information of accounts and the group account corresponding to the accounts; an image processing unit processing an image to the account service; a display unit displaying the processed image; and a control unit which logs on the accounts by using login information of the accounts if logs on with the group account, and controls the image of the account service corresponding to the login accounts to be displayed on the display unit. Accordingly, provided are the display device which rapidly performs login/logout of a multi account through simultaneous login/logout of various accounts in multi-login of a display device which many people use; and the control method thereof.
