<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of suppressing the accumulation of deposits on a urea SCR catalyst.SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device for the internal combustion engine includes the urea SCR catalyst provided in an exhaust passage, a urea water addition valve for adding urea water into the exhaust passage to supply urea to the urea SCR catalyst, and an exhaust gas temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of exhaust gas. When the temperature of the exhaust gas detected by the exhaust gas temperature sensor is a threshold value or higher, the urea water addition valve adds the urea water into the exhaust passage. In the exhaust emission control device, the threshold value is higher as the temperature of water in the engine or the temperature of intake air is lower.</p> |
