PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light distribution member, by which a light emitting device capable of preventing light leakage occurring between a turned-on light emitting element and a turned-off light emitting element can be highly accurately, simply and easily manufactured, and a method for manufacturing a light emitting device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light distribution member 12 includes the steps of: (a) preparing a plurality of members 17 having a first light blocking film, in each of which the first light blocking film 11 is coated on a surface of a translucent plate 10a; (b) joining the plurality of members 17 having a first light blocking film so as to sandwich the first light blocking film 11, thereby forming a first joined body 18; and (c) cutting the first joined body 18 vertically with respect to a lamination plane of the members 17 having a first light blocking film to be formed into thin pieces. |
