The invention relates to a method for adjusting the frequency of an AC power grid (201) including at least one power station (141) and a plurality of power storage systems (161). The method includes measuring, by means of each converter, the frequency of the AC power grid and the active power exchanged with the AC power grid by the converter, and determining a guideline for the active power and/or reactive power exchanged with the AC power grid by means of the converter, on the basis of the difference between a desired frequency and the measured frequency.
