PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and material for delivering molecules.SOLUTION: This document relates to a method and material involved in delivering molecules to a mammal. For example, a method and material for using nanoparticles to increase the half-life and the bioavailability of molecules administered to a mammal are provided. This invention also provides a method and a material for delivering molecules to a mammal for treating conditions characterized by the absence or disruption of a normal enzymatic function. For example, the method and material provided herein can be used to treat degenerative neurological disorders by increasing enzyme levels in the central nervous system.
