PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, which attains reduction of power consumption and implements stable cooling operation with a low load.SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a high-pressure heat exchanger 11 for cooling a high-pressure refrigerant; a first pressure reduction part 21 for reducing pressure of the cooled refrigerant; a gas/liquid separator 22 for separating the pressure reduced refrigerant into a gas refrigerant and a refrigerant liquid; a second pressure reduction part 23 for further reducing pressure of the separated liquid refrigerant; a low-pressure heat exchanger 24 for evaporating the pressure reduced refrigerant; a first compression part 26 for compressing either the separated gas refrigerant or the evaporated refrigerant; a second compression part 27 for compressing the evaporated refrigerant; selection parts 28 and 29 each for selecting one of the separated gas refrigerant and the evaporated refrigerant and making the first compressor suck the selected refrigerant; and a control part 40 which executes low-load control for operating only the first compression part 26, medium-load control for operating only the second compression part 27, injection control for making the first compression part 26 suck the separated gas refrigerant, and high-load control for making the first compression part 26 suck the evaporated refrigerant.
