<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side part structure of a vehicle which when a lower end part of an outer panel of a pillar is connected to an outer face of a locker of a vehicle body, prevents generation rust from being generated at a lower edge part of the outer panel and superbly maintains outer appearance of the vehicle body even though the rust is generated.SOLUTION: The vehicle body side part structure of a vehicle comprises: a locker 6 that constitutes a lower part of a vehicle body 2 and extends in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 2; and a pillar 20 having an outer panel 24 made of a plate metal that constitutes a side part of the vehicle body 2 and extends in a vertical direction, whose outer face is formed by press processing. On an outside face at a midway part in a vertical direction of the locker 6 is formed a pedestal part 30 protruding externally. An midway part in a vertical direction in the lower end part of the outer panel 24 is connected to the pedestal part 30 and a gap 31 is formed between a lower side outer face of the locker 6 and a lower edge part 24a of the outer panel 24. The lower edge part 24a of the outer panel 24 is bent toward the inside of the vehicle body 2.</p> |
