<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device and processing method, even when a center-to-center distance of end teeth in a coping after burning is a prescribed distance or more, capable pf fabricating the coping by taking account of contraction equal to or more than a contraction percentage of a workpiece.SOLUTION: The processing device for cutting a workpiece on the basis of processing data to fabricate a coping as a base member of a bridge includes: calculation means that calculates a center-to-center distance of end teeth in a coping shape created by using three-dimensional data of a tooth model for fabricating the bridge; determination means for determining whether or not the calculated center-to-center distance is equal to or more than a prescribed distance; adding means that, only when the determination means has determined that the calculated center-to-center distance is equal to or more than the prescribed distance, adds a prescribed value to a prestored magnification value of the workpiece; and creation means that creates processing data using the magnification of the workpiece and the coping shape.</p> |
