<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strengthened glass having high strength against cracks.SOLUTION: Provided is a strengthened glass being a glass plate 11 obtained by forming, on the whole of front and rear faces of a glass base material, strengthening layers 12 for strengthening the glass base material, and cutting and separating the glass base material after the formation of the strengthening layers 12, where chamfering equivalent faces 26 are formed at the edge parts on the front and rear faces of the glass plate. In the glass plate 11, the strengthening layers 12 cover the front and rear faces of the glass plate 11 and the chamfering equivalent faces 26 with almost the same thickness, and on the side face of the glass plate 11, a non-strengthened glass face 13 is exposed so as to be sandwiched with the strengthening layers 12.</p> |
