An archery bow comprises a wood handle 1 drilled to receive a length of spring steel wire 2 which also passes through two resilient plastic tubes 3, 4 pushed firmly into recesses formed in the handle. Each end of the steel wire is firmly held in plastic end members 5 which are drilled to receive a bow string 7. In a modification, a single length of resilient plastic tubing replaces the two tubes and means is provided for fixing the handle on to the plastic tubing. |
