A processing cartridge provided with a housing and a photoreceptor drum unit positioned in the housing and supported by the housing, wherein: the photoreceptor drum unit has a cylindrical photoreceptor drum, and two end members, one of which is positioned on each end of the photoreceptor drum in the axial direction thereof; one end member is provided with an elastic member, biased in the axial direction, and capable of stretching/contracting; the other end member is provided with a cylindrical shaft-receiving member and a shaft member supported by the shaft-receiving member; and the one end member and the other end member contact the housing with the surfaces thereof opposite the photoreceptor drum, and do not contact the housing with the surfaces thereof facing the photoreceptor drum. |
