The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for collecting and managing marine environment information. The apparatus includes: a memory unit storing a database including at least one type of marine environment information to be collected and related information items; a data collection unit which collects at least one marine environment information from at least one external sever; a quality inspection unit which inspects quality of the collected marine environment information; and a control unit that collects at least one type of the marine environment information among types of the marine environment information included in the database based on a setting by a user according to a predetermined collection period, manages the collected marine environment information to be in a format for inspecting quality, and also manages the inspected marine environment information to be in a format for executing a marine environment model.
