PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal enclosed switch gear capable of facilitating maintenance inspection and replacement work on a phase advancing capacitor stored in a box member.SOLUTION: The metal enclosed switch gear includes: a box member 1; a pull-out truck 3 which is movable on a floor surface of the box member 1; phase advancing capacitors 4a, 4b and 4c which are placed and fixed to the pull-out truck 3; fixing means including a hook 5 provided to the front end of the pull-out truck 3 and a plug-in part 6 provided to the rear face side of the box member 1; and a stopper 7 provided at the front side of the box member 1 to prevent the pull-out truck 3 from moving.
