<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scalping device which can easily and efficiently peel bark of a plant without manpower, in particular, is suitable for peeling bark of a mulberry tree.SOLUTION: A peeling device 10 for peeling bark S of a plant P includes: a material input part 20 for inputting a plant to be peeled; bark separation means 30 for separating a part of the bark S of the plant P inputted from the material input part 20; and bark peeling means 40 which holds the separated bark S and peels the bark S from the plant P. The peeling device 10 is characterized in that the bark separation means 30 is so configured as to include a separation mechanism 31 which separates a part of the bark S of the plant P from the plant P and holds the bark S and transfer means 32 for separation which separates the separation mechanism 31 from the plant P, and the bark peeling means 40 is so configured as to include a holding mechanism 41 which holds the separated bark S and transfer means 42 for peeling which separates the holding mechanism 41 from the plant P.</p> |
