<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically recover an image formation system from a trigger impossible state in a case where a user erroneously sets a communication address.SOLUTION: When recovering communication of a unit constituting a tandem type image formation system which contains a plurality of units connected in series, firstly, a monitoring part which a unit includes monitors communication with other unit using a communication address that is inputted through a communication part which the unit includes. Then, as a result of monitoring by the monitoring part, if a communication with other unit using the inputted communication address is not good, an address change part which the unit includes changes the inputted communication address to a predetermined communication address. Then, after changing the communication address to the predetermined communication address, a boot process part which the unit includes performs a boot process with the unit, for re-setting a communication address.</p> |
