a coupler comprising:
a mount having a saddle-like shape that seats on and couples to the first blood vessel;an adapter having a substantially cylindrical shape that extends from the mount in the vicinity of the fistula; anda brace extending from a side of the mount that can be closed to prevent the coupler from lifting off from the first blood vessel; and a sleeve connected to the adapter that ensheathes and holds a portion of the second blood vessel in the vicinity of the fistula so that the first and second blood vessels are joined at an acute angle. |
