The present invention relates to a method for initializing a position of a piston of an electric booster rapidly returning a position of a piston pressurizing brake oil to the initial position to always enable a driver to perform a demand braking force. According to the present invention, the method for initializing a position of a piston of an electric booster includes: a pedal operation determination step (S110) determining whether or not a brake pedal (11) operates in an electric booster installed in a braking device of a vehicle; a driver acceleration willingness determination step (S120) confirming acceleration willingness of the driver when it is determined that the brake pedal (11) operates in the pedal operation determination step (S110); and a piston position rapid initialization step (S130) initializing the position of the piston (13) from the current position in the electric booster when it is determined that the driver has willingness to accelerate the vehicle. |
