Disclosed is a mobile terminal having a function for automatically setting to a manner mode which checks the manner mode setting status of a mobile terminal carried by the other user who is being around a user, and thus can automatically execute or release a manner mode of the user′s mobile terminal. A mobile terminal having the function for automatically setting to a manner mode includes a wireless communication unit for receiving information about whether to execute or release a manner mode of a neighboring mobile terminal; and a control unit having a mode converting determination module for determining whether to execute or release a manner mode of a user′s mobile terminal according to information of whether to execute or release of the manner mode received by the wireless communication unit. According to the mobile terminal having a function for automatically setting to a manner mode, a manner mode in a mobile terminal can be automatically set according to the setting of neighboring people even circumstances that mobile terminal users are not recognized, thereby preventing a bad manner from being occurred in a pubic place such as a theater, a meeting room, a lecture room, etc. |
