An air-conditioner compressor (1) of the present invention is normally operated by forming a force of gravity using an electromagnet (30) and permanents (23, 25) identical to a clutch-less air conditioner compressor. However, in case that engine RPM is less than reference RPM (the number of the rotation of an engine determining whether to maintain the off state of an reverse electric clutch or not) when an air conditioner is off or in case that the engine is idle and, when the air conditioner is on, the reverse electric clutch (10) wherein a pulley and a clutch body (21) form a gap is applied by forming a repulsive force between the electromagnet (30) of which a polarity is changed due to a supplied current and the permanent magnets (23, 25) with the electromagnet (30). Through the reverse control, the present invention reduces the energy consumption of the engine by reducing energy consumption in comparison with a forward electric clutch wherein a current is supplied when the clutch-less air conditioner compressor rotating always or the air conditioner is on, thereby obtaining an effect of improving fuel efficiency. |
