The present invention relates to an overhead distribution line exclusive insulator capable of preventing an electric shock accident which can control the height of a distribution line, protect a worker from a risk of electric shock, and minimize a problem in which an insulator is damaged by buffering vertical load when the distribution line is swung by the wind. The overhead distribution line exclusive insulator comprises; an insulating body (10); a distribution line supporter (20) which is installed in the upper side of the insulating body (10) and fixates a distribution line (L); a supporter fixing stand (30) which is installed on the insulating body (10) and fixates the distribution line supporter (20); a fixing stand fastening rod (40) which is installed on the insulating body (10) and fixates the supporter fixing stand (30); a steel crossarm connector (50) which is installed in the lower side of the insulating body (10) to be able to move up and down and connects a steel crossarm (S) and n (10); a buffering member (60) which is installed between the insulating body (10) and the steel crossarm connector (50) and buffers when the insulating body (10) descends; and an insulating cover (70) of a rubber material which surrounds the insulating body (10) and protects it from external force. According to an embodiment, the height of the distribution line can be controlled easily by using the distribution line supporter and a worker can be protected from the risk of electric shock because the insulating cover surrounds the insulating body. Moreover, the vertical load can be buffered by the buffering member when the distribution line is swung by the wind. Therefore, a problem in which an insulator is damaged can be minimized. Besides, the insulator is convenient for use because each component is formed into a separable structure and the corresponding component which is damaged is replaced only. |
