<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for executing battery cell control with support of a virtual battery mechanism.SOLUTION: The method of executing the battery cell control with the support of the virtual battery mechanism is applied to a power supply device and includes the following steps of: generating a virtual total output voltage level on the basis of a total output voltage level of a set of battery cells interconnected in series within the power supply device; and simulating an output voltage level obtained by connecting in series the set of battery cells and at least one virtual battery cell for the virtual total output voltage level. Operation of the set of battery cells is controlled on the basis of the virtual total output voltage level by a battery cell control chip within the power supply device. An associated apparatus is also disclosed.</p> |
