<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet embedded rotary electric machine of a concentrated winding system capable of increasing reluctance torque by increasing a salient pole ratio.SOLUTION: In a permanent magnet embedded rotary electric machine (1), when a portion that is a part of a rotor core (31) and positioned at a radially outer peripheral side of a magnet accommodation part (32) is defined as a d-axis side core surface part (33), both circumferential end portions of the d-axis side core surface part (33) include flux barriers (34 and 34) which saturate magnetic fluxes passing the end portions. Radial thickness (t1) of the d-axis side core surface part (33) is formed thicker than radial thickness (t2) of the flux barrier (34). Further, between a radially outer peripheral side surface (321) of the magnet accommodation part (32) and a radially outer peripheral side surface (361) of a permanent magnet (36), at least one radially outer peripheral side surface (321) of the magnet accommodation part (32) is formed while being expanded radially outwards in comparison with a radially inner peripheral side surface (322) of the magnet accommodation part (32).</p> |
