PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a position of a charging member while maintaining good assembly workability of bearing members to a housing.SOLUTION: A charging device includes positioning mechanisms 7 that determine positions of bearing members 4 pressed by pressing members 5 at predetermined holding positions in a housing 9 that holds a charging member 2. The positioning mechanisms 7 each include: a positioning part 12 that is formed in a concave shape at a portion on the outer surface of the bearing member and opposite to the housing; and a positioning target part 13 that is provided as a projection piece on the housing side, having a first surface which contacts the positioning part 12 at the holding position and a second surface which extends in a direction to approach the bearing member 4 on a side closer to the charging member 2 than the first surface, where an angle formed by a direction separated from the positioning part 12 in a direction along the second surface and a pressing direction is set smaller than an angle formed by a direction separated from the positioning part in a direction along the first surface and an anti-pressing direction. |
