The heat pump cycle device comprises: a heat pump cycle (17) having a compressor (18), a radiator (19), a decompressor (20), and an evaporator (21); and a defrosting operation controller (26) capable of executing a first defrosting operation, wherein the compressor (18) is operated and the heat of a high-temperature refrigerant discharged from the compressor (18) is used to defrost the evaporator (21), and a second defrosting operation, wherein the compressor (18) is stopped and the heat of the air passing through the evaporator (21) is used to defrost the evaporator (21). The defrosting operation controller is provided with a defrosting operation shifting unit for shifting from the second defrosting operation to the first defrosting operation when a first defrosting operation shift condition for shifting to the first defrosting operation is satisfied after the second defrosting operation has been started. |
