Disclosed is a MoP/MoP_2-based negative electrode active material with improved charge and discharge cycle characteristics. Provided is an active material for a Mo-P-based lithium ion battery, wherein the active material is a complex composed of a Mo-P-based active material and a Mo-P-based inactive material different from the active material. According to the present invention, provided is a Mo-P-based negative electrode active material with excellent charge and discharge cycle characteristics which is capable of realizing a high theoretical capacity of the Mo-P-based active material and of reducing change in the volume in the charge and discharge cycle. |
