The present invention relates to a flowerpot management system using NFC and a flowerpot management method therefor which can provide a one-on-one customized online service for all NFC-embedded flowerpots using an NFC tag or an application designed to use the NFC tags, and allow an entity providing the service via the NFC tag or the application designed to use the NFC tags to induce general buyers and flowerpot sellers to become members to make small profits. The flowerpot management system using NFC comprises: a flowerpot having an NFC tag on which registration information is stored attached thereto; a flowerpot buyer terminal on which a flowerpot management application for reading the registration information of the NFC tag is installed to transmit the registration information of the flowerpot read from the NFC tag to an external recipient via a communication network; and a flowerpot management unit connected to the flowerpot buyer terminal via the communication network to transmit alarm type information required to manage a plant in the flowerpot to the flowerpot buyer terminal if the registration information of the NFC tag is received from the flowerpot buyer terminal.
