PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a measurement cell capable of performing in-situ observation of the distribution of a chemical state of an active material in an electrode during a charge/discharge reaction; and a method for evaluating an electrode using the measurement cell.SOLUTION: A measurement cell according to the present invention includes a housing part for housing an electrode, an observation window, and a connection terminal. In the electrode, a cross section cut by an ion beam is formed. The cross section is in close contact with the observation window.
