PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a carbon nanotube sheet, with which carbon nanotubes are prevented from adhering to a pressing tool and tilt directions of the carbon nanotubes are made to be more uniform, when the carbon nanotubes are made to tilt to a predetermined direction by using the pressing tool.SOLUTION: A production method of a carbon nanotube sheet includes: a transfer step of transferring a carbon nanotube layer C of vertical orientation from a first substrate 1 on which the carbon nanotube layer C is formed to a surface of a second substrate 2 to which a water-soluble polymer solution being a pressure-sensitive adhesive V is applied; an application step of applying a liquid alcohol being a permeable liquid U to the carbon nanotube layer C obtained by the transfer step; a tilt step of tilting the carbon nanotube layer C obtained by the application step to a predetermined direction with a roller 11; and a dissolution step of dissolving the pressure-sensitive adhesive by immersing the carbon nanotube layer C obtained by the tilt step in a dissolving liquid 13 of the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
