PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic reaction system suitably used for dehydrogenation of an organic hydride or the like, and to provide a catalytic reaction apparatus.SOLUTION: A catalytic reaction system uses a catalyst which accelerates a chemical reaction of a fluid to be treated such as gas, and includes: a chamber 2 through which a fluid G to be treated flows; a catalytic apparatus 3 arranged in the chamber 2 such that it can be in contact with a fluid G; and a control apparatus 4 which supplies electric power to the catalytic apparatus. The catalytic apparatus 3 has multiple catalyst bodies 3a-3e arranged in multiple stages along a flow direction of the fluid G to be treated. Each of the catalyst bodies 3a-3e has a heater part 6 generating heat by electrification, and a carrier 8 arranged on a surface of the heater part 6 and carrying a catalyst substance 7. The control apparatus 4 is configured such that temperatures of respective catalyst bodies 3a-3e are controllable independent of one another.
