PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of realizing use of a liquid phase of an organic substance as an organic semiconductor by confirming electron conductivity from evaluation of charge transport characteristics of the organic substance having at least one aromatic conjugated &pgr;-electron system in a structure by means of Time-of-flight and evaluation of a dilution effect at a time of adding diluent to the organic substance.SOLUTION: An organic substance having at least one aromatic conjugated &pgr;-electron system in a structure is selected, an impurity of the organic substance is improved and a conductive mechanism is confirmed by Time-of-flight, thereby making it possible to use a liquid phase of the organic substance as an organic semiconductor.
