<p>Systems and/or methods may be provided for augmenting reality. For example, a real-world sign along a route being navigated or traversed may be recognized or identified (e.g., based on directions or navigation instructions for the route and/or an expected location). A determination may be made as to whether the real-world sign may be relevant. An appearance of the real-world sign may be adapted, based, at least in part, on the real world sign being relevant. The appearance of the sign may be adapted by augmenting a view of a real-world scene that includes the real-world sign with augmentation information (e.g., a virtual object). The view of the real-world scene that includes the real-world sign may be augmented with augmentation information by emphasizing or de-emphasizing the appearance of the real-world sign in the view with the augmentation information.</p> |
