Method for configuring the functionalities of a social network for providing users with the possibilities to organize virtual and real meetings by means of chat. It allows the user belonging to the social network to actuate a search on an "event" in progress in a "place" by description, category, city, ranking, affinity or by proximity, by using geolocation techniques. The event only occurs in a given place and in a given time period. One can participate in the event by means of registration in the "event", in order to exchange messages in chat with the people present in the same "event"; such registration in an event involves the remote aggregation in a place without the necessary physical presence of the user in the place and in the event. Or, the enrollment in the event is provided, in order to be able to dialog with other users, still by means of geolocated interactive synchronized messaging service. In such case, the enrollment in a place occurs with the adhesion in an event underway in a place by means of the activation of a geolocation process, with which the user comes to be part of the community of users who are participating in the event underway at that moment in the place where the user is present. It is also possible to actively search for a user profile that corresponds to predefined search criteria, and be automatically notified as soon as a user who meets such requirements accesses the "event" where the user is present. |
