<p>In example embodiments, a system and method for ensuring that a call is made from within a call application is provided. Call details of a call initiated from a device of a user is accessed. A determination is made as to whether a notification is received from the call application on the device of the user. Based on the notification being received from the device of the user, a determination is made as to whether the notification provides an indication that the call was made from within a call application.
