PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a cooling fan for deteriorating the access performance of a storage device.SOLUTION: A storage control device 1 controls, as control targets, a plurality of storage devices 3(3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) and a plurality of cooling fans 4(4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) that a storage device 2 has in a casing. A storage abnormality acquisition part 1a acquires storage abnormality information 5 related to the abnormality of access in each of the plurality of storage devices 3. A fan control part 1b performs switching control of a control state determined in accordance with the combination of the operation configurations of the plurality of cooling fans 4 between a first control state and a second control state different from the first control state. A fan abnormality detection part 1c detects at least one cooling fan 4 among the plurality of cooling fans 4 related to the abnormality of each of the storage devices 3 from storage abnormality information 7 in the first control state and storage abnormality information 8 in the second control state. |
