PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize reduction of accuracy of time synchronization when a change of state occurs on a master node or a slave node between the nodes.SOLUTION: In a time synchronization system, a master node includes a timing control unit for controlling the execution interval of time synchronization processing, i.e., the processing for synchronizing the time at a slave node with the time at a master node, when a change of state of the master node or slave node is detected, and a communication unit performing transmission and reception of a control message for use in the time synchronization processing between the slave node. The slave node includes a communication unit performing transmission and reception of a control message with the master node, and a time synchronization processing unit for synchronizing the time of a slave node with the time of a master node based on the time information acquired when transmitting or receiving the control message. |
