PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a metal component having a protrusion whose cross section of the outer shape is like a screw-shaped form and has various shapes other than a screw function, by taking advantage of a characteristic of protrusion formation that the protrusion is formed by plastic flow of a metal member.SOLUTION: A cross section orthogonal to a height direction of a protrusion is made, corresponding to a hollow part formed to a processing jig and a cylindrical outer shape part formed to a rotary tool, in an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of an ellipse, an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of a circular part and a linear part formed in a part of the circular part, an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of a circular part and a notch part formed in a part of the circular part, an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of a cross, an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of a rectangle, an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of a hexagon, an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of an octagon, or an inner shape of a true circle and an outer shape of a dodecagon. |
