摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when diameter of a through hole to connect a pixel electrode and a source electrode is decreased, an alignment layer material is less likely to flow into the through hole.SOLUTION: An interlayer insulating film 109 made of SiN is formed on a counter electrode, and a pixel electrode 110 having a slit 1101 is formed thereon. A through hole 111 connecting the pixel electrode 110 and a source electrode of a TFT has an upper large hole, a lower small hole, and an inner wall connecting the large hole and the small hole. The pixel electrode 110 covers the through hole 111 in a part of the through hole inside the pixel but does not cover the through hole 111 in a part of the through hole outside the pixel. Thereby, an alignment layer is easily made to flow into the through hole, starting from a pixel electrode end.
