PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake for a vehicle capable of surely locking a banjo while reducing processing man-hours.SOLUTION: A caliper body 5 including an operating portion 5a having a cylinder hole 5d to which a piston 7 is internally inserted, is formed by a gravity casting method by pouring molten metal of a base material from a sprue formed at a bottom wall side of the cylinder hole. A union hole 12 communicated with a hydraulic chamber 10 is formed on a bottom wall 5e of the cylinder hole 5d, and a banjo bolt 13b for fixing a banjo 13a disposed on a hydraulic pipe 16, is disposed on the union hole 12. A locking projection 13f is formed on the banjo 13a. A pouring mark 5i is formed on the bottom wall 5e of the cylinder hole 5d, and a processed face 5k is formed on the pouring mark 5i. The union hole 12 and a locking hole 14 for inserting the locking projection 13f, are formed on the processed face 5k. |
