<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sealed battery arranged so that gas can be easily exhausted to the outside even with the gas remaining in a case member; and a gas-exhaust method for such a sealed battery.SOLUTION: A sealed battery comprises: a power-generating element; a battery case provided with a liquid-pouring spout 17 for pouring an electrolyte, in which the power-generating element is enclosed; and a sealing member for sealing the liquid-pouring spout 17. The sealing member is composed of a blind rivet 18 which includes: a sleeve 20 including a flange part 22 larger than the liquid-pouring spout 17 in diameter and a sleeve main part 21 placed in the battery case; and a remaining member 28 remaining inside the sleeve 20. The remaining member 28 has a structure in which a protrusion part 32 protrudes toward a bottom part 29 of the sleeve 20.</p> |
